Lisa Boyd

Lisa Boyd has over twenty years of experience in the technology industry. Lisa began their career in 1993 as a Systems Administrator for Mebane Packaging Group, where they developed methods of using computers to improve productivity and streamline company processes. In 1999, they worked as a Computer Technician for the Department of Anesthesiology at Duke University Medical Center, where they designed graphics and layout for the department's web site. Later that year, they became a Media Marketing Specialist for Mebane Packaging of Westvaco, where they collected content for the company's intranet and extranet web sites. In 2000, they worked as a Computer Support Specialist for Computer Consulting Sales and Service, where they refurbished used computers from Duke University for resale to the public. Lisa also became an Independent Computer Support Contractor for Savvy Tech, where they provided on-site technical support to local clients. In 2008, they worked as a Web Developer for Proverbs 31 Ministries, where they setup a main website on WordPress and a store website on Shopify. Finally, in 2000, they founded BoydPress Solutions, LLC, where they specialize in WordPress website development. In 2022, they began working as a Senior WordPress Developer for WordHerd®.

Lisa Boyd attended Alamance Community College from 1991 to 1993, where they earned an Associate's degree of Commercial Art and Audiovisual Technology in the field of Commercial and Advertising Art.
