Wordplay partners with schools and families across San Diego to provide high-quality speech, language, and literacy support for children. Our team of speech-language pathologists and literacy interventionists delivers services that are evidence-based, engaging, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.

Through on-campus and clinic-based sessions, we work closely with teachers and caregivers to ensure therapy aligns with academic goals and everyday communication demands. Whether supporting articulation, language development, reading intervention, or early communication, our approach centers on collaboration, consistency, and connection.

Founded by Chanel Konja-Mertz, M.A., CCC-SLP, Wordplay is committed to helping every child build the communication and learning skills they need to thrive both in school and beyond
