Marcela Abbade

Marcela Abbade is a design director who has worked for some of the biggest names in the industry. Marcela first got their start at Globo.com, where they designed many of the company's digital products. This gave their a perfect understanding of the design process from end to end and a vast market and product knowledge within the online news and media industry. Marcela then went on to work for Huge, where they designed the main digital products for Suzuki Colombia and Estadão. This experience gave their a broader market knowledge and new insights about design methodology and approach. Finally, they are currently working as the Design Director at Work & Co. In this role, they are responsible for pitching and directing all digital projects. Marcela also designs, prototyped, and leads design and development teams. In addition to their work responsibilities, Marcela also teaches independent design courses and workshops.

Marcela Abbade went to Colégio Santo Agostinho - Leblon for Elementary, Middle & High School. After that, they attended Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro for their Bachelor in Design.
