Cathy O'Malley

Cathy O'Malley has a diverse range of work experience in graphic design and communications. Cathy currently works as a Communications Designer at Workato since December 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Junior Graphic Designer at Makovsky from July 2018 to September 2019. Cathy also gained experience as a Graphic Design Intern at Eckhart Public Library from January 2018 to July 2018, where they focused on creating new branding and designing promotional materials. In addition, they worked as a Bar Back at Jeremiah's Brewed Awakenings from March 2018 to June 2018, where they handled cash register duties and food preparation. Over the years, they have also held various internships, including positions as a Graphic Design Intern at Sweetwater from September 2017 to December 2017, a Graphic Design Intern at River Styx Magazine from June 2016 to August 2016, an Intern at D. B. Dowd Modern Graphic History Library from June 2015 to May 2017, and a Graphic Design Intern at Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement from July 2015 to January 2016. Cathy also interned at Typefounding from May 2016 to July 2016.

Cathy O'Malley completed their education with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Communication Design from Washington University in St. Louis, from the years 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their high school diploma from Canterbury School, graduating between the years 2009 and 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, Cathy O'Malley also earned an Automation Pro I Certification from Workato in November 2020.
