Derek Thompson

Derek Thompson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the data management and technology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President & GM for EMEA at Workato since February 2023, Derek has previously held key leadership positions, including Vice President for EMEA at Boomi and Informatica, where roles encompassed Vice President for UK & Ireland and Vice President MDM & PIM, EMEA. As Managing Director for EMEA at Kalido, Derek contributed to its reputation as a leader in agile information management software. Prior roles include Sales Director and Director of Data Management Solutions at KCOM, following the successful sale of Technica to the KCOM Group PLC. Derek founded Technica UK Ltd, the UK's largest independent Data Management Consultancy, and also has a background with Hewlett-Packard and IBM, where expertise in consulting and sales was honed.
