Kunal Khandekar

Kunal Khandekar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Kunal started their career at BAE Systems as an Associate Mechanical Engineer, where they worked as a Thermal Architect and Design Engineer. After that, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Consultant and later became a Senior Consultant and Associate, delivering analytical solutions for Navy clients and securing new business opportunities.

Following their time at Booz Allen Hamilton, Kunal worked at Matisia Consultants as a Senior Consultant, where they created divisional reports and implemented business analytics strategies for real estate firms. Kunal then joined Deloitte as a Consultant and provided end-to-end support for the development of BI solutions. During their tenure at Deloitte, they also led BI projects for a large public sector client and managed a global team of practitioners.

Next, Kunal joined MemSQL as an Enterprise Customer Success Manager, where they delivered technical account management services to the company's largest enterprise customers. Kunal maintained a book of $7M Annual Recurring Revenue and ensured successful customer relationships.

Currently, Kunal is working at Workato as the Head of Customer Success Management for the Commercial Business Unit. In this role, they supervise and manages a global team supporting North American Commercial Customers. Kunal has also expanded the CSM team from 3 to 12 members and built effective processes and operating rhythm for the broader Commercial CSM team.

Throughout their career, Kunal has achieved significant accomplishments such as achieving a NRR of 150% in named accounts at Workato and employing enterprise-wide dashboard solutions for real estate firms at Matisia Consultants. Kunal is skilled in customer strategy, account management, business intelligence, and team leadership.

Kunal Khandekar completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego, which they attended from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended Folsom High School from 1999 to 2003, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for their high school education. In 2012 to 2013, Kunal pursued a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business. Apart from their formal education, Kunal has also obtained various certifications, including a Continuous Value Reporting Badge and a Workato Automation Pro II Certification from Workato in September 2020.
