Lilibeth Abat has extensive experience in finance and accounting, with a strong focus on managing accounting operations and driving process improvements.

Lilibeth currently serves as the Senior Manager of Accounting at Workato, where they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting globally. Lilibeth'srole involves ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local statutory controllership, optimizing month-end closing and reporting processes, and building best-in-class accounting processes to support the company's growth and scalability.

Prior to their role at Workato, Abat worked at Acoustic as the Accounting Operations lead for the APJ region. Here, they managed accounting operations and reporting, implemented process and systems improvements, and handled payroll administration for international subsidiaries. Lilibeth'srole also involved driving efficiency and cost savings initiatives.

Abat also worked as the Group Financial Controller for Greater Group - Creating Intelligent Retail Environments, where they focused on change management initiatives. Lilibeth ensured that projects met objectives on time and on budget by leading the people side of change, driving changes to business processes and systems, and supporting the reinforcement of corporate policies and procedures across APAC.

Previously, they held the position of Head of Finance at Space Matrix Design, where they were responsible for managing 15 legal entities in SEAA. Abat achieved significant cost savings by establishing a low-cost and high-performing center of excellence in India. Lilibeth also led the annual business planning process and identified cost savings opportunities.

Abat's experience also includes serving as the Regional Finance Manager for APAC and EMEA at Marking Services, Inc., where they oversaw financial and accounting operations for multiple legal entities. Lilibeth provided financial information and insight to the CFO and partnered with the Group MD on strategic plans and initiatives.

Earlier in their career, they served as the Accounting Manager for APAC at Codexis Laboratories Singapore Pte Ltd, where they streamlined financial reporting and operations, improved financial accuracy and reporting, and maintained compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

Abat has also held finance and accounting leadership roles at Advanced Integrated Manufacturing Corp Ltd. and PACNET Singapore, where they were responsible for accounting functions, financial reporting, and the implementation of new accounting systems.

Lilibeth Abat obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Lilibeth attended the university from 1992 to 1996. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification from the Board Of Accountancy in November 1996.
