Matt Hamilton

Matt Hamilton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Matt most recently worked as an Embedded Account Executive at Workato starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they were an Account Executive at FinancialForce from May 2021 to February 2022.

Before their time at FinancialForce, Matt spent several years at Flare HR where they held multiple roles. Matt started as an Enterprise Sales Manager in August 2017 and was involved in expanding the FlareHR product in the market and bringing on larger enterprise customers. Matt also played a key role in launching Flare's SAP powered payroll engine and bringing on complex customers in the retail and hospitality sectors. Additionally, they provided presales and product support to the sales and support teams. In February 2019, they were promoted to Account Director, where they managed key accounts and successfully implemented a new ecosystem revenue stream.

Prior to Flare HR, Matt worked at Datacom, where they held the position of Australian Sales Manager - Payroll & Human Resources from July 2014 to July 2017. Matt was responsible for generating new recurring revenue and improving service for existing clients. Before that, they were the New Zealand Sales Manager - Payroll, where they achieved a 272% increase in annual revenue and managed existing client accounts. Matt also briefly worked as a Business Development Manager at Datacom.

Matt's early career includes a role as Membership Sales Manager at YMCA of Auckland Inc from February 2008 to November 2008.

Matt Hamilton attended The University of Auckland from 2002 to 2007, where they received a BSC degree in Chemistry. Matt further pursued their education at Massey University from 2009 to 2011, completing a Graduate Diploma in Business and Administration.
