Neil Shah has a diverse range of work experience.

Starting in 2018, they worked as a Business Development Executive at ROAS Media, where they researched and reached out to potential clients in the E-commerce industry. Neil also helped close five new clients and took on additional tasks such as setting up a marketing calendar and recruiting new candidates.

From August 2018 to March 2019, Neil worked as a Business Analyst at Toppers Education Centre.

In 2019, they were a Back End Developer at 9cv9, a job search platform. Neil collaborated with the tech team to build the platform using Django and REST API. Neil integrated features into the application's API and implemented basic machine learning methods for better job recommendations and applicant-employer matching.

Neil's work at NUS Computing as a Deep Learning Research Intern involved working on models focused on multi-view heterogeneous data sources. Neil also worked on multi-task multi-optimization algorithms for deep learning using PyTorch.

In 2020, Neil held various roles at the National University of Singapore (NUS). At ViSenze, an AI for Visual Commerce company, Neil worked as a Data Analyst in ML Ops. Neil curated datasets, evaluated image recognition models, analyzed model performance issues, and contributed to building a machine learning pipeline.

Neil was a Technology Analyst in the Machine Learning team at NUS Fintech Society. Neil worked on a research project to develop an Open AI gym environment for multiple stocks/forex. Neil implemented baseline algorithms and visualization techniques for algorithm performance comparison.

In 2021, Neil held two roles. As a Data Analyst in Regional Business Development at Shopee, they worked on a product pricing model, performed various tests, and achieved a monthly revenue increase of 100k. Neil also worked as a Data Intern at Carousell Group.

Most recently, Neil joined Workato as a Product Manager in January 2022.

Neil Shah completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics from the National University of Singapore from 2018 to 2022. During their time at the university, they also participated in the NUS Overseas Colleges program in 2019, focusing on Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies in South East Asia. Additionally, they were a part of the University Town College Programme at Tembusu College from 2018 to 2020. Prior to their university education, Neil Shah attended the Global Indian International School, Queenstown, where they pursued the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum with a focus on Science from 2007 to 2018. Throughout their academic journey, Neil Shah obtained several certifications, including being on the Dean's List for AY2021/22 - Semester 1, AY2020/21 - Semester 1, and AY2019/20 - Semester 2 from the National University of Singapore. Neil also holds certifications in Analytics Techniques Knowledge Area (with Distinction) from the National University of Singapore and completed courses in Geospatial Analysis and Intro to Game AI and Reinforcement Learning from Kaggle.
