Nikhil Venkatesh

Nikhil Venkatesh's work experience includes various roles in UX design and management. Nikhil is currently working at Workato as a Senior Manager, leading the platform design team and overseeing the development of platform features and design systems. Prior to this, they were a UX Design Manager at Workato, leading a small team and focusing on design systems. Before joining Workato, Nikhil worked as a Senior UX Designer, where they played a key role in team growth and designed several important features, such as the Embedded Admin Console and automation lifecycle streamlining. Nikhil also worked as a UX Designer, where they designed the first version of the API platform, which became a popular add-on for Workato.

Prior to their time at Workato, Nikhil worked as a User Experience Designer at Xactly Corp, where they led the UX, interaction, and visual design for the Xactly Incent Android app. Nikhil also worked as an Animator at Technicolor, where they contributed to award-winning TV shows and developed internal tools to improve animation workflows. Their early work experience includes a role as a Junior Animator at Sanraa Media Ltd and freelance work as a Digital Designer, where they worked on various creative projects including web design, media production, branding, and UI design.

Nikhil Venkatesh completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Loyola College. Nikhil then pursued a Master's Degree in Digital Media at UNSW from 2009 to 2010. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they attended the University of Washington and obtained a Master's Degree in Human Centered Design and Engineering. Additionally, Nikhil has obtained Automation Pro I and Automation Pro II certifications from Workato in November 2020.
