Shane Smith

Shane Smith is a Senior Practice Leader in Professional Services at Workato, with expertise in managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, establishing partner relationships, and designing service offerings and methodologies. Previously, Shane served as Engagement Manager at Thought Industries, where responsibilities included ownership of professional services bookings and improving customer retention. At PROS, Shane managed a diverse team and strengthened customer relationships for strategic accounts while overseeing recruitment processes. An earlier career included roles as Project Manager, Implementation Consultant II, and Implementation Consultant I, culminating in student leadership as Student Body President at the University of Houston, overseeing a substantial budget and championing cost-saving initiatives. Shane holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Houston and a Master of Science in Project Management from Missouri State University.
