Sales Manager, Japan at Workato

Yuki Tabata has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles.

Yuki started their career in 2013 at Isetan Mitsukoshi Ltd., where they worked as a Sales Associate and Assistant Buyer. In this role, they were responsible for face-to-face sales, buying, promotion planning, visual merchandising, and product development.

In 2016, Yuki joined freee K.K. as an Inside Sales Operation Lead. Here, they focused on liberating SMBs from time-consuming back-office tasks, allowing them to focus on their core businesses.

Moving on, in 2017, Yuki joined Salesforce as a Business Development Representative, responsible for selling SaaS products to over 5000-employee companies. Yuki later transitioned to the role of Sales Development Representative, where they focused on selling Salesforce's SaaS products to up to 100-employee companies in Japan. Their responsibilities included prospecting, lead nurturing, managing the sales pipeline, and driving the sales process.

In 2018, Yuki joined Datadog, initially as a Sales Development Representative. Yuki eventually became a Senior Commercial Account Executive, responsible for net new logo acquisition and customer onboarding in the APAC & Japan market. Yuki achieved impressive sales results, including being President's Club of FY19 and reaching 163.8% of the FY19 Annual Quota. Yuki also took on leadership roles, such as being the Very first Commercial Account Executive Team Lead in APAC & Japan and the Manager of Commercial & Mid-Market Sales Japan. In these positions, they led teams, recruited and coached team members, reported sales forecasts, and managed KPIs.

Most recently, Yuki joined Workato in 2022 as a Senior Commercial Account Executive.

Yuki Tabata obtained a Bachelor of Policy Management in Policy Study from Kansai University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. They later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA in Accounting) in Accounting & Finance at the same university from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Yuki Tabata obtained certifications in Automation Pro I and Automation Pro II from Workato in May 2022.
