Dan Sharp

Dan Sharp has extensive work experience in software development and technology management. Dan is currently working as a Sr. Software Architect at WorkBright since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Silvernest as the Director of Software Development from May 2019 to January 2020, and as a Sr. Software Engineer from March 2019 to May 2019. Before Silvernest, Dan worked at Ingersoll Rand as a Software Team Manager from November 2018 to March 2019, and as a Sr. Software Architect from January 2012 to November 2018. Dan also served as the Director of Technology at HealthTalker from September 2009 to November 2011. Before that, they were the owner of Sharp Designs / Sharp Hosting from January 1990 to September 2009. Dan also has experience as the owner of Screen Spots (formerly adsOOH) from January 2008 to June 2009. Earlier in their career, they worked at Novell, Inc. as a Web Engineer from October 2003 to November 2005, at Ximian, Inc. as an eCommerce Engineer and Web Application Programmer from July 2002 to September 2003, and at Scient as a Technologist from 1999 to 2000.

Dan Sharp completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Amherst College from 1991 to 1995. Dan later pursued further education at Tufts University, obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from 1999 to 2000.
