Spence Knudson has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership and advisory roles. Spence is currently serving as the Chairman at Shine Interview since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at WorkBuzz from January 2022 to the present. Spence was also the Chief Financial Officer at 55/Redefined from June 2021 to May 2023, where they provided tailored financial and legal solutions for the over-55 demographic. Spence Knudson served as a Non-Executive Director at Sova from January 2021 to January 2022, where they contributed to the development of their scientifically strong assessment platform. Spence worked as a Board Advisor at Changeboard from September 2018 to August 2021, providing strategic guidance to the organization. Additionally, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Clear Review – an Advanced company from April 2019 to December 2020, leading the business expansion and overseeing the due diligence process during the sale. Spence Knudson's experience also includes their role as the Chief Executive Officer at Key Travel from July 2013 to November 2017, where they oversaw significant expansion and established the company as a market leader in serving the travel management needs of the non-profit sector. Spence also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Key Travel from December 2007 to July 2013, during which they executed the group's M&A strategy and established the company in the US market. Prior to that, they worked as an Interim Finance Director at Imediacast Ltd for six months in 2007. Spence Knudson's earlier experience includes their role as a Senior Director Finance Systems (Europe) at Orbitz Worldwide from February 2005 to May 2007, where they led a business change program and managed a team across London and Delhi. Spence was also the Head of MIS and Finance Systems at lastminute.com from December 2003 to December 2004.

Spence Knudson completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Computer Science from the University of Reading, which they attended from 1984 to 1987. Following their undergraduate studies, from 1987 to 1991, they pursued an Accountancy qualification (ACA) from ICAEW. Later in 1996, Spence briefly attended the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), obtaining a Marketing qualification (MCIM).
