Sarah Johnson

Dr. Johnson joined WorkCare in 2020 as an Associate Medical Director and provides occupational medical consultant services to a variety of clients in the entertainment industry.

Before joining WorkCare Dr. Johnson worked as a medical review officer and completed her residency in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at UCSF. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and attended medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Before moving to San Francisco, she completed two years of general surgery in Chicago.

Dr. Johnson is a proud alumna of Teach For America and became a high school English teacher for Teach For America on the south side of Chicago before medical school. Dr. Johnson loves movies and ran two film series (indoor and outdoor) while at Johns Hopkins.
