Ali Akbari

Ali Akbari has extensive experience in financial services and technology, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Workday Platform Services at Workday since June 2012. In this role, Ali leads the Workday on Workday team within Business Technology, overseeing areas such as Workday Integrations, Reporting & Analytics, and IT General Controls. Previous positions at Workday include Director of Workday on Workday Finance and Analytics, and Sr. Manager of Analytics, where Ali managed teams delivering reporting solutions across various financial functions. Prior to Workday, Ali held financial analyst roles at JDS Uniphase, Sybase, and Wells Fargo Bank, honing skills in financial reporting and analytics. Ali holds a B.S. in Financial Services & Corporate Finance from San Francisco State University.
