Localization Program Manager

Celina Maiorano is a skilled localization and translation professional with extensive experience in international development and humanitarian contexts. At UNDP, Celina served as a Media Translator from October 2016 to October 2019, focusing on climate change and development-related communications. Subsequently, at Workday, Celina held various roles including Localization Project Manager and Localization Program Manager, where achievements included expanding language support for Workday Adaptive Planning and leading localization efforts for multiple products. Currently, as an Asylum Interpreter for the Center for Gender & Refugee Studies since January 2019, Celina provides translation and interpretation services for asylum petitioners and legal teams. Celina's early work as a Refugee Rights Associate at East Bay Sanctuary Covenant involved leading residency clinics and managing various humanitarian processes. Celina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
