Gavin Steed

Gavin Steed is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in information security and IT risk management. Currently serving as the Director of Security Architecture, PenTest & Bug Bounty at Workday since July 2019, Gavin has previously held roles such as Senior Manager and Manager in Information Security. Prior experience includes IT Security Officer at KBC Bank Ireland, where contributions supported the bank's digital-first strategy, and Security Engineering Manager for Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, overseeing global information security initiatives. Earlier in the career, Gavin worked at Ericsson as a Network Deployment Manager and Services Engineer, where responsibilities included managing network rollout services and delivering security consultancy. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Digital Investigation & Forensic Computing from University College Dublin and a BEng in Computer Engineering from the University of Limerick.
