James Pasley

James Pasley is a seasoned software development engineer and architect with extensive experience in microservice architecture, data science, and integration systems. Currently serving as a Fellow and Senior Architect at Workday since February 2008, James founded the Microservice Architecture Team, emphasizing the implementation of tailored architectural strategies. Previously, as a Data Scientist, James led a team utilizing the Apache Hadoop suite to enhance product performance analysis. Prior to Workday, James held key positions at Cape Clear Software, including Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect, where strategic leadership culminated in the development of the Enterprise Service Bus. Earlier professional experience includes roles at Aptest Ireland, Software and Systems Engineering Ltd, and Irish Medical Systems, where James contributed to significant software projects. James holds a B.A. (Mod.) in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin.
