Matt Pincus

Matt Pincus is a seasoned public policy professional with extensive experience in government relations and advocacy. Currently serving as the Senior Public Policy Manager at Workday since January 2022, Matt leads efforts supporting public sector business enablement focused on federal procurement and IT modernization policy. Previously, Matt held the role of Director of Government Affairs at the National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO), where responsibilities included developing and executing federal advocacy priorities in IT and cybersecurity for state governments. Prior to that, Matt was the Deputy Legislative Director at the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS), managing legislative issues related to the Air National Guard. An early career included serving as a Military Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives, where Matt handled a broad range of defense and military issues. Matt’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Global Security Studies from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Government from Skidmore College.
