Meera R. is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in overseeing complex software development projects and cross-team efforts. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Workday since December 2017, Meera has successfully led initiatives involving data integration and the development of a Google add-on for Planning. Previous roles include Senior Software Development Manager and Software Development Manager at Workday, where Meera managed SCRUM teams and contributed to legacy system transformations. Prior experience includes positions as Software Engineering Manager at Forcepoint - Raytheon and UPMC, where Meera focused on building scalable cloud solutions and leading global engineering teams. An initial career in software engineering commenced at United Toll Systems, followed by roles at Ajilon Consulting and Vital Images. Meera holds a Master of Science in Computer Applications from Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of Mumbai.
