Rick Shaffer

Rick Shaffer is an experienced product designer with a diverse background in design and development. Beginning a career in 2009 as a designer and art director at The Advantage Company, Rick later contributed to Red Ventures as a designer, focusing on UI and web development. Following this, Rick served as a principal visual designer at Progress Software before taking on roles at Stitch Labs and eventually joining Workday as a senior product designer. At Workday, Rick is dedicated to building the Canvas design system, emphasizing consistency and scalability across the product ecosystem. Rick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and New Media from the State University of New York College at Fredonia.
