Scott Weber

Scott Weber is the Senior Director and Associate General Counsel at Workday. Scott has been with the company since July 2019 and in their current role, they manage Workday's dedicated commercial legal team in support of its North America large enterprise sales organization as well as Workday's global contracts operations team.

On the commercial front, they oversee the commercial lawyers located in various U.S. and Canadian cities who document, manage, and negotiate the contractual arrangements that frame Workday's relationship with its largest customers (large enterprise). The contracts operations team consists of approximately twenty individuals around the globe who are responsible for compiling, tracking and updating all of Workday’s commercial transactions as well as preliminary negotiations of same.

Weber regularly works with product counsel, tax, accounting and other functions across Workday to craft legal solutions that enable complex Software as a Service (SaaS) transactions. Scott's current activities are focused on efficiency enhancements that have already increased operational effectiveness by 20% over the last six months, laying the groundwork necessary to effectively manage Workday's anticipated growth in the coming years.

Scott Weber graduated from Emory University with a B.A. in Economics/Scott'story and then went on to attend SMU Dedman School of Law where they received their J.D.

They are on a team with Susan Dahm - VP, Deputy General Counsel, Go to Market, Virginia Ann Sandor - Legal Director, Associate General Counsel, and Lisa McFall - VP & Deputy General Counsel, Products, Technology & IP. Their manager is Rich Sauer, Chief Legal Officer & Head of Corporate Affairs.
