Shan Moorthy

Shan Moorthy currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer for the Asia-Pacific region at Workday since May 2024. Prior to this role, Shan held significant positions at Telstra as Software Engineering Principal (GM) of the Center of Excellence from April 2021 to May 2024, and at Latitude Financial Services, where responsibilities included Head of Data (CDO), General Manager of Architecture, Data & Engineering (CTO), and Enterprise Architecture & Strategy Consultant from August 2018 to April 2021. Shan was the Chief Technology Officer at Stratton Finance from May 2017 to July 2018, and played key roles at Penguin Random House, including Head of Technology from July 2013 to January 2017, and at Penguin Books Australia from July 2009 to July 2013 as Head of Software Engineering and Web & Digital Development Manager. Shan's educational background includes studies at La Trobe University and UNSW, alongside completing high school at Epping Boys' High School from 1995 to 1998.
