Shayan Zamani

Shayan Zamani is a highly experienced senior machine learning engineer currently at Workday since October 2025, following a significant tenure at Hifi where responsibilities included MLOps Team Lead with a focus on developing a Continuous Training Pipeline, Model Registry, Feature Store, and algorithms for observability and drift detection. Prior to Hifi, Shayan served as a machine learning engineer, crafting an anomaly detection algorithm and contributing to various projects at NAV CANADA as a test automation engineer, ensuring quality through unit test plans and UML documentation. Additionally, Shayan has a background in research and teaching at the University of Calgary, where work involved optimizing unit test generation tools and mentoring graduate students. An entrepreneurial spirit is demonstrated through the co-founding of Scorize, an educational platform. Shayan holds a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering, both from reputable institutions.
