Stephen Downie currently serves as the Director of Public Cloud for the Asia Pacific Japan region at Workday since December 2024. Prior to this role, Stephen held the position of JAPAC Cloud Service Providers Alliance Leader at Palo Alto Networks from September 2022 to December 2024, and worked as a Principal Alliances Manager at New Relic, Inc. from August 2021 to September 2022. Stephen’s extensive experience includes various roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS), including GTM Partner Development Manager and ISV Partner Success Manager from August 2017 to August 2021. Additional experience includes leadership positions at IBM Security, IBM Singapore, and IBM SWG, as well as roles at Cisco, Mincom, and Dell Asia Pte Ltd. Stephen holds a degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from Box Hill College of TAFE and completed the Global Sales School at IBM GSS in Singapore.
