Lauren Deters

Lauren Deters is currently the Head of Learning & Assessment at Workera. Lauren has extensive experience in psychometric analysis and assessment, having worked as a Psychometrician at PSI Services LLC from June 2019 to December 2020, and as a Senior Associate at edCount, LLC from August 2012 to February 2019. In their role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from August 2008 to June 2012, Lauren was responsible for leading state projects end-to-end, developing proposal budgets, drafting research designs, conducting validity studies, leading data collection protocols and analysis, and preparing technical reports. Lauren is highly skilled in project management, data analysis, and report writing, and is adept at presenting findings to stakeholders.

Dr. Lauren Deters earned their PhD in Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Lauren also has a Master of Science (MS) in Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation from UNCG, as well as a B.A. in Psychology from Catawba College.

Lauren Deters works with Morteza Ibrahim - Head of Applied Science, Petar Radošević - Head of Engineering. Some direct reports include Mo Rebaie - Lead AD, Scott Frohn - Senior Psychometrician, and Amy Sullivan - Assessment Program Manager. Lauren Deters reports to Kian Katanforoosh, Co-Founder & CEO.
