Simon James

Simon James is a versatile script writer and producer with extensive experience in television, having accumulated over 25 writing credits and notable achievements since graduating from Lancaster University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Creative Writing. Simon's creative portfolio includes a short play starring Jude Law, a comic book scripted for Millarworld now under Netflix adaptation rights, and the award-winning one-act play "The Toad in the Hole." As a producer at Workerbee, Simon has contributed to various productions including "Hardmen: Street Justice," "Car Crash TV," and "Building Paradise Island," while also securing a world record and earning the Endemol Shine Short-Cut Film Award 2019. Earlier experiences include roles as a press intern at Channel 5, arts and entertainment editor for SCAN, and a junior reporter at the Lancaster Guardian.
