Martin Henz is an Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore since July 1997, specializing in computer science education with an emphasis on experiential and multidisciplinary learning. Henz's research interests include educational technology, programming languages, and combinatorial search, with a guiding motivation centered on the scalability of experiential learning. Additionally, Henz serves as a Resident Fellow at King Edward VII Hall and holds a Non Executive Director position at Workforce Optimizer - AI Enabled WFM since January 2003. As of July 2018, Henz has also been coordinating the development of Source Academy, an online platform for learning programming. Henz earned a Dr. rer. nat. in Computer Science from Universität des Saarlandes and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stony Brook University.
