Louis Castillo

Louis Castillo currently serves as a PREA Auditor (Probationary) at the U.S. Department of Justice and works as an Industry Project Manager at Workforce Solutions Borderplex. Previously, Louis held various roles at El Paso County over a three-decade span, including Director of the Juvenile Detention Center, Senior Corrections Officer, Team Leader at both the Challenge Academy and Juvenile Detention Center, and Juvenile Detention Officer. Louis earned a Master of Arts in English Rhetoric and Writing Studies from The University of Texas at El Paso between January 2020 and May 2023, a Graduate Certificate in Technical and Professional Writing in 2019, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the same institution, completed in December 1998.
