Drew McMinn

Drew McMinn has a long and varied career in software engineering and cloud architecture. Drew began their career in 1980 as the Director of Land Management at Ballysnod Agri Business. In 1992, they were the Project Technical Lead at Kainos, where they were responsible for design changes to an application used by the majority of the UK's Electricity Producers. In 1999, they were the Project Lead Software Engineering at 3dfx, where they managed a 10-member Gaming Graphics software project. In 2001, they were a Software Development Contractor at both Insurance Corporation of British Columbia and CCC Technology Ltd. From 2002 to 2016, they were a Principle Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Liberty Information Technology, where they led teams of developers and worked with local and US based Corporate Technologists and Architects. In 2014, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Intel Labs. Since 2019, they have been an AWS Security Architect (acting) at Workgrid Software, with a primary focus on Security, Auditing and Compliance.

Drew McMinn attended Queen's University Belfast from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology. Prior to this, they attended Larne Grammar.
