Jonathan Hersh

Jonathan Hersh is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in economics and data science. Since 2017, Jonathan has served as an Associate (Tenured) Professor of Economics and Management Science at Chapman University. In addition, Jonathan has held the position of Principal Machine Learning Scientist at Workhelix since November 2021. Prior experience includes consulting in economics and data science at The World Bank and teaching roles as a lecturer at both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Wellesley College. Jonathan's educational background includes an AB in Economics from the University of Chicago, an MSc in Applied Economics and Management from The Wharton School, and a PhD in Economics from Boston University.
