Tammo Behrends

Tammo Behrends is an accomplished engineering manager and software developer with extensive experience across various roles in leading tech companies. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager at Workist since January 2022, Tammo has a strong background in backend and full-stack development, previously holding positions such as Senior Backend Developer and Senior Full-Stack Engineer at CLARINESS. With expertise in improving microservices platforms and creating scalable applications using technologies like Python, Docker, and RabbitMQ, Tammo has also contributed significantly to team growth through hiring and onboarding initiatives. Additional experience includes developing a desktop VoIP client during an internship at vio:networks GmbH and working as a Design Engineer at AREVA N.P., where responsibilities included developing tools for nuclear control systems. Tammo holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin and has prior educational training at Siemens Technik Akademie Erlangen.
