Brian Reed is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Workiva since September 2013, Brian leads the Content API team focused on empowering partners and customers to manage content through an API. Prior roles at Workiva include Engineering Manager, where oversight of various teams and products was key, and Senior Software Engineer, responsible for the development of Binders and Support Binders for both web and mobile platforms. Brian's previous experience includes a tenure as Senior Software Developer at Pearson, where leadership in the development of both ActionScript and JavaScript versions of the SuccessMaker educational product was achieved. Additional roles at Visuart and Thomson NETg contributed to skills in front-end development and Flash application enhancement. Brian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication from Collins College.
