Dave Walker

Dave Walker is an experienced engineering manager with a robust background in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Workiva since July 2018, Dave oversees the core platform engineering team, focusing on client architecture, extensibility, and observability. Prior to Workiva, Dave held positions at niolabs as a Software Engineer, creating the Pubkeeper project, and at Symplicity Corporation, where Dave was a Software Engineering Manager responsible for the Residence product and strategic product development. Dave's earlier career includes software engineering roles at Rochester Institute of Technology and Spectracom Corp, as well as management of student employees in a help-desk operation at RIT. Dave earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Networking and Systems Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology.
