David Palazzo

David Palazzo, CPA, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science and machine learning. Currently serving as a Staff Applied Machine Learning Scientist at Workiva since December 2019, David has led the development of Large Language Model extensions in the ESG space and managed the data science efforts for the Workiva Assistant Generative AI chatbot. Previous roles include Data Consultant at PDC Energy, where David built a contract review system, and Associate at PwC, performing risk assessments and data analytics. David has also held various managerial positions in the hospitality industry, including Front Office Manager at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where leadership and operational efficiency were paramount. David holds a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Denver, a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Colorado State University.
