Eric Olson

Eric Olson is an accomplished Engineering Manager and Senior Software Developer at Workiva, where employment has continued since June 2012. Prior experience includes serving as an Application Specialist at the University of Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory, where Eric led the development of a parallel GPU volume renderer and optimized CUDA medical software from July 2005 to June 2012. Eric's career began at Argonne National Laboratory as a Predoctoral Appointee between July 2002 and June 2005, focusing on modernizing a virtual reality CAVE and prototyping visualization tools. Prior academic experience includes a Research Assistant role at Iowa State University from 2000 to 2002.
