Jacob Akers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience at Workiva, serving as a Principal Solution Consultant since June 2013, where responsibilities include mapping customer needs to applications and leading technical discussions on sales calls. Previous roles at Workiva include Senior Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Solution Engineer, Senior Customer Success Manager, and Customer Success Manager, demonstrating a strong focus on customer success and technical expertise across various domains. Prior to Workiva, Jacob gained early experience as a Social Media Development/Marketing Intern at the University of Central Missouri and a Marketing Intern at State Farm Insurance, as well as hands-on skills as an Assembler/Welder at AES Raptor. Jacob holds a degree in Corporate Communication from the University of Central Missouri.
