Mark Mellen

Mark Mellen, CPA, is an experienced professional in sustainability and risk management, currently serving as Industry Principal - Sustainability at Workiva since June 2021. In this role, Mark supports the development of reporting and performance management software, assisting companies in managing their sustainability, financials, audit, risk, and compliance. Previously, Mark held several positions at Deloitte from 2007 to 2021, including Senior Manager in the Sustainability & KPI Services group and Manager in the Sustainability group, where expertise was provided in sustainability reporting readiness and assurance. Mark began his career as an Accounting Lab Facilitator at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where assistance was offered to students in financial and managerial accounting topics. Mark holds a BSBA and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
