Matthew Speakman

Matthew Speakman is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user interface and experience design, currently serving as a Staff User Interface Designer at Workiva since September 2015 after progressing through roles as a Senior User Interface Designer and User Experience Designer. Previous ventures include serving as an Independent Design Director, Design Strategist at Circ Design where Matthew led a team in various strategic design projects, and Design Director at FC Media, where collaboration on a project focused on the history of the Portland Timbers Football Club took place. Earlier career milestones include roles as a Design Director at Spacewalk Creative and a Designer at ThoughtForm, along with multiple positions in agencies such as Circumerro and MERCURYcsc. Matthew holds a BFA in Fine Art and Graphic Design from West Virginia University.
