Melissa Lamkin

Melissa Lamkin, PMP, currently serves as the Senior Manager of People Development Operations at Workiva since September 2017, focusing on talent management strategies, learning measurement, and career development. Previously employed at Rackspace as a Learning and Development Manager, Melissa designed and facilitated learner-focused experiences and managed LMS operations. As the Creative Director and Co-Founder of Hops Magazine, Melissa pioneered China's first beer magazine, securing initial funding and local business partnerships. Additional experience includes instructional design consulting across various industries and serving as a Senior Instructor at Shanghai Normal University, where Melissa trained foreign instructors and evaluated course content. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Learning and Technology from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M University.
