As senior executive vice president and chief marketing officer, Yasser Mahmud leads all aspects of marketing and brand for Workiva. His team is responsible for monetization, go-to-market strategy, product marketing, demand generation, customer marketing, and the operational oversight of all technology and data Workiva uses to manage marketing success.
Yasser has more than 25 years of technology experience with particular expertise in product management, go-to- market strategy development, and marketing transformation. Yasser joined Workiva in 2017 and in a few short years, has built a strong and engaged team, a robust marketing strategy, and integrated programs driving growth at scale.
Prior to Workiva, Yasser spent 9 years at Oracle (NYSE: ORCL), most recently as the vice president of Industry Strategy. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade in product management, marketing, and engineering positions for Primavera Systems, Infor, Manhattan Associates (NASDAQ: MANH), and Motorola (NYSE: MSI).
Yasser received a dual Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Industrial & Systems Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
