Catherine Wilson has extensive work experience in the field of employment law and HR. Catherine is currently serving as the Head of Advisory Service at WorkNest, where they manage a team of HR consultants and solicitors to provide employment law advice and consultancy services to various businesses. Prior to their role at WorkNest, Catherine worked as an HR & Employment Law Consultant at Law At Work, where they advised small and medium-sized businesses on employment law matters and provided on-site support. Catherine also served as an Employment Law Advisor at Aberdeen Citizens Advice Bureau, representing claimants at employment tribunals and delivering training to volunteers. Catherine's previous experience includes roles as a Welfare Rights Officer at Aberdeen City Council, a Legal Researcher at Centrex and Cobweb Information Ltd, and a Merchandising Assistant at BHS. Catherine began their career as a Researcher at Project North East.
Catherine Wilson pursued their education starting from 1991 to 1995 at Northumbria University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Studies. Later, from 2002 to 2004, they attended Northumbria University again and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Law. Finally, from 2004 to 2006, Catherine Wilson attended The University of Huddersfield, where they achieved a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
