Thomas Mokosch has worked in various roles across a range of companies since 2008. Thomas began their career as a Service Employee at CineStar in 2008, followed by Working Student roles at MTU Aero Engines and H.C. Starck GmbH in 2011 and 2012 respectively. In 2012, they also worked as a Working Student at Fujitsu Technology Solutions GmbH, where they were responsible for administration and maintenance of a competitors analysis and comparison database with 400+ computer hardware products and provided counsel for marketing teams and visitors of IFA 2012 in Berlin. In 2013, they worked as a Working Student at H.C. Starck, where they developed an HR tool for controlling of 1,800 employees. In 2014, they joined Google as a Partner Enablement Manager, delivering Google Ads product & sales workshops to 60+ top tier agencies and channel partners in EMEA and delivering 100+ workshops to a mix of 1,500+ A-, B- and C- level customers. Thomas then worked as an Account Strategist, providing revenue-critical support and strategic advice for Google AdWords' highest spending SMB DACH agencies. Additionally, they were responsible for internal marketing & communications within the GCE DACH SMB team. Thomas also worked as a Marketing Consultant in the Customer Experience Lab, conducting experimental research around new online advertising solutions with American alpha testers for Google AdWords, AdWords Express and YouTube products. In 2019, they joined Microsoft as Head of Employee Learning Microsoft Germany, where they were responsible for driving learning culture and completion of required learning programs for 1,600+ employees across 8 different Orgs, a plethora of roles and 3 solution areas. Thomas was also responsible for internal communication and marketing of various global learning programs and local learning events, the community of learners, learning champions and their recognition. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Program Manager Training & Enablement at Workpath.
Thomas Mokosch obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration from the University of Augsburg between 2008 and 2012. Thomas then went on to receive a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Strategic Management & Strategic Branding from Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck between 2012 and 2014. In 2020, they obtained a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained a Microsoft Inside Out Leadership Development Program certification from Henley Leadership Group.
