Joylena Namu

Joylena Namu has a strong background in business development and sales, with experience in various roles and organizations. Joylena is currently working at Workpay as a Senior Business Development Executive, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they held a role at Cloud IT as a Regional Sales Manager - East Africa from January 2022 to November 2022. In this position, they were responsible for leading a sales team, developing and implementing a business development strategy, and ensuring the update of CRMs with client and project information. Before Cloud IT, they worked as a Business Value Specialist at Cloud IT from August 2020 to January 2022. In this role, they identified client business needs, pitched and demonstrated cloud solutions to clients and partners, and created long-term pipelines resulting in revenue generation. Prior to Cloud IT, Joylena held the position of Account Manager at NiftyHR from January 2019 to July 2020. In this role, they exceeded sales goals, built a pipeline of prospects, and actively sought out new sales opportunities. Joylena also has previous experience as a Finance Intern at KRA (Kenya Revenue Authority) from May 2016 to December 2016, where they were responsible for financial tasks such as preparing payment vouchers, processing petty cash, and preparing withholding certificates.
