Nelson Mwai

Nelson Mwai's work experience includes serving as the Head of Legal and Compliance, Africa at Workpay starting in 2023. Previously, they worked at Anjarwalla & Khanna | ALN as a Tax and Corporate Commercial Lawyer from May 2021 to January 2023, and as a Trainee Lawyer from September 2019 to May 2021. Prior to that, Nelson was a Legal Assistant at the Capital Markets Authority in Kenya from June 2018 to April 2019, where they assisted in reviewing applications for approvals, conducted legal compliance reviews, and reviewed applications for various approvals such as mergers & acquisitions and share splits.

Nelson Mwai completed their education at several institutions. In 2014, they enrolled at KCA University, where they pursued a degree in Company Secretary (CS-K) until 2017. Simultaneously, they started their Bachelor's degree in Law at Kenyatta University in 2014 and continued until 2018. Finally, in 2019, Nelson attended the Kenya School of Law and obtained the degree of Advocate of the High Court.
