Wessel van Gils has diverse experience in both retail and architectural fields. Beginning a career as a verkoopmedewerker at Karwei in December 2017, Wessel gained foundational experience in customer service before moving on to a similar role at Ahold Delhaize from January 2019 to December 2021. In December 2022, Wessel participated in a project at Van Wijk Vastgoedonderhoud as a student bouwkunde, contributing to the minor "Assetmanagement in de gebouwde omgeving" alongside peers. Wessel further advanced skills through an internship at OZ Architect from February to July 2023. Currently, Wessel is employed in a security role at Workrate since December 2021. Wessel's education includes a degree in Beveiliger from IBO SVPB, a minor in Assetmanagement from Hogeschool Utrecht, and a Bachelor in Built Environment (Bouwkunde) from Hogeschool van Amsterdam, nearing completion in 2024, following a Havo degree from Vechtstede College Weesp, specializing in Natuur en Gezondheid.
