Shannon Brush

Shannon Brush has extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Shannon is currently serving as the SVP of Corporate Communications at Work Group Strategies, a position they started in December 2021. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2021, they worked as the Director of Communication and Employee Engagement at GI Alliance, where they were responsible for designing and implementing communication strategies and employee engagement activities. Shannon also served as a member of the leadership team and acted as the media relations representative for external activities.

Before joining GI Alliance, Shannon worked at the University of Dallas from 2016 to 2019, where they held a position in the Office of the President. In this role, they provided supervision and orientation for support staff, oversaw programs and special projects established by the president, and collaborated with various stakeholders on matters of interest to the president.

From 2014 to 2016, Shannon served as the Program and Communications Manager at the Texas Central Hemophilia Association. Shannon developed relationships with industry partners and advocacy groups to increase awareness and access to care for rare disorders. Additionally, Shannon had the opportunity to contribute to legislative committees at both state and national levels.

Between 2007 to 2016, Shannon worked independently as an Author and Consultant at LA Kelley Communications. During this time, they published a series of board books called "My First Factor Words" that catered to children with hemophilia, aiming to teach basic concepts.

Shannon's career also includes a role as a Manager of Training at fpix from 1997 to 2000.
