Audrey Yang

Audrey Yang is a Senior Manager of Legal Services at WorkSafeBC, a position held since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Legal Counsel at Technical Safety BC from 2020 to 2023 and Chair of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) between 2020 and 2022. Yang has also served as Senior Access to Information and Privacy Officer at WorkSafeBC from 2017 to 2020, managing access to information requests and providing legal advice on privacy issues. Additional experience includes positions as Privacy and Policy Coordinator at the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS, a Lawyer in a law firm, and Crown Counsel at Manitoba Justice. Yang holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Manitoba and an Honours B.Sc. in Biology from York University.
