Emma MacFarlane is a project manager and instructional designer currently serving as the Instructional Project Lead at WorkSafeBC, where they lead cross-functional teams in developing effective training programs. They previously held various roles at Simon Fraser University, including Teaching Assistant and Workshop Facilitator, and contributed to the Learning Commons at the University of British Columbia, earning a 2021 Employee Excellence Award. Emma holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Psychology from the University of British Columbia. Passionate about education, empowerment, and connection, they also enjoy reading, writing, and creative projects outside of work.
